Duties and Responsibilities: Editors are the final conduit between writers and the final publication. Editors will proof-read content, layout, add captions and or images, and perhaps headline the articles, chapters etc. Often times editors will publish their own original content as a sideline, or even a major, however for the most part they try to build a united voice for the publisher by providing consistency at all levels throughout the publications.
