Duties and Responsibilities: Acutary’s responsibilites are to design and direct tables and arrangements that help a company evaluate financial risk when selling insurance policies, retirement plans, and other financial proposals. To do so, an actuary will analyze historical figures such as mortality rates, the number of accidents and the like to determine a reliable forcast that can both make a profit for the company or organization, and also fulfill it’s payouts for those claims that are likely to render.
