Duties and Responsibilities: Biochemists and biophysicists work in clinical and laboratory environments largely for research purposes, and study chemical compositions and their effects on living organisms to determine actions and reactions of drugs on humans. The physical properties of living cells such as human tissues, their related energies, reactions and reaction tiems involved in cell reproduction, growth, metabolism, the effects of food protiens, sugars, hormones etc, are a large part of biochemist and biophysicist research.
Metabolism and other research provides possibilities for further advancement in medicine and life; the research biochmests provide lead to better appetite controls, new discoveries, helpful drugs and more.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge and practice of safety
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
BS in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Chemistry or equivalent
Experience in assay method development and optimization
