Duties and Responsibilities: Technical writers work with project managers and other departments to write support materials, procedures, equipment and training manuals for operations, software references, and publish them for a variety of people from internal business reference to customer reference.

Technical writers often times consult with subject matter experts or may do other research in order to complete a master reference for the reader. Technical writers can be found in a wide variety of industries from software to manufacturing.
